Image Title: Dawn of a Matriarch

Tehmina is a woman’s name that means Powerful and Strong, in the Urdu language.

She is dressed in traditional and formal clothing that honors the profound and recent change in her life and her position, as a young matriarch, to her family.

She’s captured in a moment of strength, power, prayer, reflection, transition. We look to our matriarchs for faith, traditions, a living connection to our ancestry. Here is a woman sitting on the richness of her foundation, bravely seated to speak to the vastness for us all.
